Nostalgia and rubber ducks

Now, in the fourth year when I'm sick of everything, and I don't feel like doing anything that has anything to do design, I sometimes find all sorts of things from my first year of studies,
and trying to remember what am I doing here... :)

Hipster filter

In the last couple of months I been making fun of all those hipster photos people are making with their iphones, I'm not saying it's not looking good, it does, but as a photography lover, it seems kind of instant to me, and it always looks the same..because it's always the same basic filter.

but secretly, I was jealous.
I couldn't betray my principles about real photography, had no money for a Diana camera, but I really wanted to take some hipster photos!
And then I found this awesome tutorial from "Grosgrain", she uses a diana lens, but it worked well with my regular nikkor 18-55 lens.

How do you start a blog?
I read alot of blogs .. but I don't think I ever seen the first post of any blog ..
Should be a blog devoted to first posts of blogs, It certainly would be interesting.

My name is Or (I'll explain that in some other post..)

I'm a graphic design student, and an enthusiastic crafter. I've been drawing, sewing and making stuff since I was a little girl. I'm on summer vacation (the last days of it, anyway) and about to begin my fourth year of my degree. Last year I had a series " I'm sick of graphic design and I want it to die" episode, and I wasn't even sure I want to keep studding it.

To get away I started reading A LOT of craft blogs, cleaned the dust out of my sewing machine, and eventually, I don't even remember how, I began to work with felt, and fell in love with it.
I started to bring a "sewing kit' to school, and make stuff while listening in class. I was staying late to craft and not doing my homework, and eventually I got into felt hair accessories. Wail I wasn't doing so great in school, the crafting kind of saved me, because it brougth back my long lost passion for art and design.

So after the year was over, On my summer vacation, I opened an etsy shop, and began making  A LOT of stuff, I went to some local shops to try and sell my stuff too, and I  attended one craft fair. It's going slowly, but it's a lot of fun, and I actually got back to graphic design through it, making business cards and graphics for my shop, and then for others I meet through craft and etsy forums and blogs.
So I want this blog to be about all the things that I love to do, like crafting and sewing , and about all the thing that I forgot that I love.. like illustration and graphic design.
So to begin, look! a bunny !
